Release Notes

This release is described on the home page for the PC Dimension Naturalizer.

Updated to reflect latest changeset, so no outstanding bugs that I know of. Please let me know if you have a problem and I will work to try to get it working for you. It is a very limited scope for target audience, and therefore testing, but I do my best to support it and will try to help you get it working if you contact me. :)

PS There is no installer. It is just a binary, requiring .NET 3.5 and Analysis Services 2005 development components. If you have a problem, you can always download source code and this may help. I found on one machine it didn't work, but I didn't have the 2005 AMO components installed there. The tool does work for 2008 and 2008 R2 but requires the 2005 AMO components, which can be installed stand-alone even if you are not running 2005...

This tool is absolutely amazing and has saved me so much time. Thank you very much Jon. While I haven't figured out why sometimes I can use the BIDS Helper GUI and sometimes I have to use the command line, I don't really care. So helpful. Thank you, Thank you. Brad

This tool does not work for me. I've talked to the author about some of the bugs. Hopefully it can be fixed, because it looks like it would be a great tool.

I have yet to practice it. But based on the documentation, it is one of the most useful utilities on Analysis Services. Hope that someday, Microsoft would make it part of the BIDS. Thanks a million for making this available.
